He's decided he's going to tell someone about his situation, he's going to get help. He s finally given up hope on his family. He can barely stand it.Īll the happiness he's ever seen is gone when his family hurts him, he thinks they don't care. He trusts his amily only to be hurt, it takes alot on his mind, and his body. He's trying to keep it together, but this is a lot to take on for a youg child.Įverytime he gets back up, he's only pushed back down. Whenabused, you really think the world is going to shatter, you really do. And then when home or drunk, they hurt the child. His parents probally told him they loved him either in public or when sober. He has no friends, no caring family, he's just alone, therefore, everyone is "far away". He's hurt by them, but he still loves them. This child isn't sure whether ot not he can. Most children can trust their parents, love their parents and such. To me, it seems that the fighting is a metaphor, he's trying to fight for his life and get out of the house, I'll explain with the lyrics. To me, it describes a beaten child, a child who lived through a household that did nothing but beat and hurt them, the video only supports this, seeing as it stars a young child who looks sickly, and a bit scared at the beggining.
